To achieve our mission, we believe in combining online and offline activism.
We honor our digital activists using leaderboards and shout outs at in-person events.
Our members pledge small and large monthly contributions to support our mission and we celebrate them with cute little badges on their profile and warm fuzzies with their morning coffee.*
Our volunteers (who can also be members) do the things that work to engage family, friends, neighbors and more! You know, they take action and do the things on this page. They call, they door knock, they hold neighborhood coffees to talk about the issues, the candidates. and in return we give them tiny little laminated award buttons. It's cute.
Yes, the joke from comedian Stephen Wright** is a funny play on words. But, seriously, if you are part of the problem or the precipitate then you need to take some positive action!
It's easy, we'll help.
*warm fuzzies available while supplies last. Notice: we are out of warm fuzzies.
FINE PRINT STUFF **This gratuitous name-dropping of the performer is no way meant to imply any association with Catalina's List or support of our mission. Find out more about Stephen Wright by searching google. By the way, do you know what "precipitate" means? It's not good. No matter how you use it.
verb: cause (an event or situation, typically one that is bad or undesirable) to happen suddenly, unexpectedly, or prematurely.
adjective: done, made, or acting suddenly or without careful consideration.
chemistry: Precipitation is the formation of a solid in a solution or inside another solid during a chemical reaction or by diffusion in a solid. When the reaction occurs in a liquid solution, the solid formed is called the precipitate.
We told you. Not good.
