Catalina's List Progressive Action PAC was established in November of 2012, right after the Presidential election. Catalina’s List created a plan to find, recruit, and train progressive women for civic engagement. Members help support and train progressive women and women-identified candidates.

Catalina's List candidates and members learned about and took action on five key issues developed from Sister Giant's 2012 conference which included:

  • Childhood poverty.
  • Mass incarceration.
  • Big money influencing elected officials and policy.
  • Gun violence.
  • Environmental injustice.

To help build organizational and regional capacity, Catalina's List founded the Progressive Alliance of the Inland Empire.

This project will restart it's mission in 2023 with support and input from many of the progressive officials and candidates that have begun to fill the progressive void in local offices.

Our first UNITY ACTION EXPO since 2019 will be on Day 2 at the Rising Voices: Community Engagement Conference, happening June 5-7, 2023 at the Ontario Convention Center.

The mission remains the same:

Individuals and organizations united for positive change.

Connect with others.
Bring your organization to the table.
Build community power for the common good.
